Givenchy : Menswear Spring/Summer 2020 show in Florence

Artistic Director: Clare Waight KellerLocation: The label has left Paris to show its Men's collection during Pitti Uomo, in the gardens of Villa Palmieri in Florence, in a place where history and romance mix. The show begins on the terrace of the house in the middle of cast iron tables and ends in the vast gardens.Collection: An elegant man, as is standard at Givenchy, but with a new look - slender, dynamic and mixing high-tech with sportswear. There are several suit proposals, displayed in powdery tones and made with technical cottons - either in a slim version with supported shoulders, or in a loose version, a crossed jacket (with or without sleeves) accompanied by ¾ length trousers. The man is also bold in wearing a loose shirt, a tight-fit sweater (with or without sleeves), as well as a light parka, worn either as a sweater or as a long covering coat in shades of dark blue, burgundy and grey. Some prints appear on several pieces, with Italian jacquards issued from the label’s archives. For the evening, a touch of rock is added with still an incredible sophistication, with long sequined jackets worn on bare chests and loose, high waisted white trousers.Note – The Belt straps, the different bag proposals with the logo “Givenchy Paris”, the sneakers – socks and the exclusive models Givenchy x Onitsuka Tiger. Show music (only for use in the context of the show, covered by the right to information)
