A new phenomenon in the modelling world: twins

In the advertising campaigns and the latest fashion shows, a new phenomenon has appeared amongst models: twins. It all started with Sama and Haya Khadra, who became it- girls, djs and models, with lots of success on social media. Then, we fell under the spell of the Bell sisters. Difficult to tell apart to start with, until Ruth shaved her hair off and ended up strutting all the catwalks, whilst continuing to pose next to her sister. Recently, it’s been the turn of Lia and Odette Pavlova to make their mark. Dancers who come from Russia, they were spotted in a supermarket and signed separately by two agencies. Whilst Lia opened the first Gucci fashion show signed by Alessandro Michele in 2015, Odette exclusively signed to Saint Laurent. Then everything started to take off for these tall tenebrous brunettes of 1m79, the magazines wanted them, they posed together and strutted the catwalks, making more than 70 shows for Lia, and almost as much for Odette. They have become THE twins to follow, managing at their same time their own personal status whilst emphasizing their togetherness and in our opinion, we haven’t heard the last of them… Music royalty free / Bandit & Nikit - 2016
