Maison Margiela - MENSWEAR collection Spring/Summer 2017 in Paris (with interview)

Designer: A wardrobe designed by the studio, with a welcoming nod to John Galliano who will take over the reins more and more from 2017.Silhouette: loose, a play on asymmetry and snap button details for the silk shirts printed with fox and countryside patterns.Focus on: the bottom of open trousers, the deconstructed shoulder of a shirt, the sartorial spirit for suits with visible couture points to reinforce an artisanal work.+ On a very flattering playsuit in knit!Interview from Renzo Rosso:It’s a real Margiela collection, we have started to improve and we have started to see john’s hands on it, he has started to put his hands on the men’s now so that’s great. We are very excited about what’s going on in all the Margiela concepts, everything from male, female, fashion shows to haute couture, we think it’s a big moment. I think Martin has really invented something unbelievable. During the last fashion weeks, 6 months ago, we saw most of the brands took inspiration from Margiela but were the original, so we have to take advantage of this.Music of the show, do not reuse for more than 7 days after the show
