Issey Miyake Fashion show- MENS collection Autumn-Winter 2016/17 in Paris

An exotic and arty collection designed in collaboration with Japanese artist Kenji Hirasawa.Designer: Yusuke TakahashiTheme: "Neonomad". The designer was inspired by Mongolia where horses are the main means of transport.Silhouette: Adventurer - traveller with an XXL sweater or knit dress and leggings or for his more urban version, with pedal pushers and bombers.Fabrics: The very worked knit, mixed with horsehair. To Note: The touch of effective sportswear notably through the short jackets, parkas, tops with high collars in high-tech textures.Interview from Yusuke Takahashi:I try to always do a very sporty and urban style but on the other hand I try to create more natural fibre or I try to use more interesting fibre. I am always looking for interesting fibre. So this time we tried to create very technical knitwear. For the first work I actually used horse hair in the knitwear, the horse hair gave it lightness. Kenji Hirasawa is the Japanese artist based in London and he collaborated with us for this collection with his new works about horses and so the colours of the collection come from his thermographic photos and we mixed them with dusty colours, deep green, Bordeaux, or charcoal grey. The inspiration came from Mongolia. Music of the show (do not reuse for more than 7 days after the show)
