Zalando has announced an interesting development this week as it aims to “elevate the visual experience for customers” by piloting “virtual production” in a Designer category partnership with Orendt Studios.
The ASOS annual results Monday were overshadowed by CEO Nick Beighton stepping down with immediate effect. The e-tail giant said new leadership would “underpin delivery of the next phase of its global growth strategy”.
Zalando is the latest fashion giant to unveil an upgraded commitment to circularity with new business practices to embed it “along the full product lifecycle, from developing design standards to investing in recycling”.
Online fashion retail giant Zalando has invested in circular fashion and textile technology group Infinited Fiber Co. It said the non-disclosed proceeds will go towards building a €220 million factory in Finland.
