The Paris edition of the Première Vision trade show will be held from 16th to 18th February at the Villepinte exhibition centre. About 1,720 companies are expected, 142 of them new entries and 18 returning after some time, in representation of the textile-apparel industries from 52 countries.

Textile show PV Fabrics will bring together 778 companies, 27 of which in the 'Maison d'exception' pavilion, dedicated to outstanding expertise. The event for yarns and fibres, PV Yarns, will feature 39 exhibitors, while the leather and fur show, PV Leather, will showcase 266 companies.

PV Designs, dedicated to textile design, is expecting 221 exhibitors, and the accessories event, PV Accessories, will feature 284 exhibitors. PV Manufacturing, the event for apparel suppliers, will put 132 companies on show, 21 of them in the Knitwear Solutions area, dedicated to flat knits.

Unsurprisingly, the majority of exhibitors will again come from Italy, country of origin for 670 companies. Other well-represented European countries will be France (237 companies), Turkey (142), the UK (119), Spain (85) and Portugal (58). Other notable delegations will be those of South Korea (32), Germany (31), the USA (31) and Morocco (28).

"The total number of exhibitors has slightly decreased, a reflection of the market, but the range on show remains strong," according to Gilles Lasbordes, Première Vision's General Manager.  "We are welcoming 142 new exhibitors to this edition, compared to 128 in February 2015. The show's exhibition area will be the same as last year. These two indicators are proof of the exhibitors' renewed confidence in the Première Vision Paris package."

At the edition held on 10th-12th February 2015, Première Vision Paris welcomed 58,443 visitors. Those from outside France accounted for 73% of the total, a 5% decline compared to February 2014.
