Iconix: The streetwear brand Mossimo comes to Europe

Published
May 6, 2014

Following agreements between Danskin and Go Sport in France, and Belle by Badgley Mischka and London Fog with Karstadt in Germany, Iconix Europe has signed its own direct-to-retail deal. The idea entails Iconix brands being produced and distributed by retailers, while Iconix itself remains responsible for marketing.

This time, the California streetwear brand Mossimo will cross the Atlantic. Iconix has reached an agreement with the Brits at Blue Inc to bring the brand to the UK market.

The company owns the eponymous retail chain targeted at the under-15 demographic as well as The Officers Club, aimed at those 12-25. Both retail stores are widely present in UK shopping centers, with over 200 Blue Inc stores throughout the country.

The first pieces introduced to the company’s e-commerce site range from 12 pound hats, to 50 pound bomber jackets, to t-shirts for 16 pounds and hoodies for 25.
