Charming Charlie opens first New York City flagship

Charming Charlie has unveiled its first New York City flagship store at 445 Fifth Avenue on 39th street in Manhattan’s Midtown East neighborhood.
 

"We are thrilled to finally have a flagship in New York City," said Charlie Chanaratsopon. "Opening this store has been a true labor of love for us, and we look forward to offering chic, effortless style and incredible value to the women in this great city." 
 
The 16,000 square foot, three-level store that was designed in partnership with Callison Architects is the largest of the brand to open worldwide. The store features a two-story, 30-foot tall glass façade, 20-foot tall double doors, herringbone pattern flooring, Tibetan lambskin chairs, a marble staircase, curated artwork, suspended Tom Dixon brass shades, and seven unique changing rooms. The store will also double as the brand’s Press Relations office and showroom.

Charlie Chanaratsopon founded Charming Charlie in 2004 and has grown to over $500 million in sales and almost 350 stores across North America. The company opens as many as 55 stores in the U.S. per year and is expanding into the Middle East in 2015. The company has also signed its second international partnership agreement, after opening its first four stores in Canada in 2014, for distribution in the Philippines.
