Yeezy Boost 350 tops list of most resold sneakers

While it is estimated that the global sneaker resale market could reach $30 billion by 2030, some trainers are more popular and profitable than others, according to data compiled by Uswitch.

Using leading resale site StockX, Uswitch found the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Black Red to be the most resold trainer model of all on StockX with over 70,000 resales. 

Ranking as the second most resold trainer model is the Jordan 11 Retro Jubilee 25th Anniversary model, with over 69,000 resales on StockX, followed by the Nike Air Force 1 Low White ‘07 model trainer, which is the third most resold pair of trainers on the platform worldwide. 

Still, the most popular styles aren’t necessarily the most profitable styles. Instead, with an average resale price of 222 euros, Jordan 1 Retro High White University Blue Black are the trainers with the most profitable resale price on StockX overall. The popular style among basketball players and street style fanatics resells for around 100 euros more on average than the original retail price.

Next, it’s the Jordan 1 Retro High Dark Mocha with the second most profitable resale price on the platform. As well as being the fourth most resold trainer on StockX, it is sold for 92 euros more than the original retail price for the shoes. 

Meanwhile, the Adidas Yeezy Slide Pure is the trainer model with the third most profitable resale price. Despite only retailing for 39.57 euros, the trainers have an average resale price of 105 euros.
