It’s been an extra-busy four months for Vincero Watches. The luxury watch brand has not only recorded a 31% year-on-year rise in international conversions since September, but UK order numbers alone have driven 120% higher. A much-needed advantage given the tough market during the ongoing pandemic.

How so? The retailer has partnered with Global-e, the cross-border digital solutions provider “to create an improved localised e-commerce experience built to increase global customer satisfaction, capitalise on international traffic, increase conversion rates, grow sales in key markets and penetrate new markets”.

Brands are increasingly linking up with specialists on various aspects of e-commerce as they realise how important the sector is and how a more intense knowledge of doing business online can complement their own skill sin areas such as product development and marketing. This has clearly been the case here.

The “new and improved customer journey” includes localised messaging tailored to the market and allowing shoppers to browse and buy in their local currency. It also includes multiple shipping options, including free shipping over $50 and pre-paid returns, over 150 payment options, checkout process supported in 26 languages, and accurate pricing including taxes and duties calculation and pre-payment option.

“Selling internationally can be challenging and in order to assure you provide your customers with the best experience you need to overcome many logistical barriers”, said Aaron Hallerman, co-founder of Vincero Watches.

“Since implementing Global-e’s end-to-end international e-commerce solution, we’ve seen quick and impressive results".

He added: “Catering our platform to be as welcoming and seamless for our international customers as it is for our domestic shoppers was always crucial to us but during a pandemic it became critical”.
