Carlos Gerardo Marcano, retail director at Grupo David, told FashionNetwork.com that the brand will be launching standalone stores dedicated to the beauty and accessories ranges in the three countries this year. “We are currently exploring locations to make a debut in these three markets,” Marcano announced.

Grupo David has been helping Victoria’s Secret grow in the region since 2009. According to the group’s website, the lingerie label has more than 30 beauty and accessories stores in countries including Peru, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic, to name a few.

Victoria’s Secret has also gained a foothold in Mexico and Chile through a partnership with Grupo Axo. The American firm founded in San Francisco operates over 20 stores in Mexico alone, including full-concept formats and beauty, fragrance and accessories shops.

With over 40 years of experience, Grupo David is based in Panama and currently represents a host of international brands such as Adidas, Clarks, La Senza, Victoria’s Secret, Dole, Justice and Claire’s. It operates subsidiaries in Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic, and has over 700 partners in the Caribbean, Central and South American regions.
