Valextra is marking its 80th birthday with the opening of a pop-up store in Milan. The Milan-based luxury leather goods brand, whose majority shareholder is British investment company Neo Investment Partners, has opened the otherworldly new store inside its retail store on milan’s via Manzoni

Made with design firm Snarkitecture, it comes specifically rendered in white to focus on minimalist product design with the signature black frames of Valextra’s bags popping out against the all-white background.

The store theme has a hint of sci-fi in it, with white mesh fabric wrapping around scaffolding.
Other features include a printed fibreglass tile floor and fluted upholstered walls. Valextra's foam display units create a soft feel across the entire space, underneath a wavy ceiling on white.

Last October, the Italian luxury company opened a new store at 129 Mount Street, Mayfair, London, marking the brand’s flagship debut in the city.

In 2014, the label has opened its first flagship store in New York, at 833 Madison Avenue, unveiling its all new concept designed by architect Marco Costanzi.

It also has standalone stores in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Singapore, as well as being available online.
