True Fit appoints chief technology officer, general counsel

Fit specialist True Fit is strengthening its executive team with two new strategic hires, appointing Raj Chandrasekaran, as its chief technology officer (CTO), and privacy expert Tracy Gray, as general counsel.

Chandrasekaran joins True Fit with over 20 years of experience including at Ebay, OpenTable and Roku. As CTO, he will provide strategic direction and leadership, overseeing global technology operations and teams that fulfill True Fit’s role as the size and fit standard solution.

Likewise, Gray joins the company with expertise in intellectual property, consumer protection and data privacy, which will underpin her role as True Fit’s new General Counsel.

Tracy’s expertise in retail and tech, coupled with her comprehensive experience in data and privacy, will fuel our scaling business.”

The strategic hires arrive as the company recorded an 85 percent increase in revenue and strong consumer adoption of its technology, jumping 109 percent across its network, last year. In December, it equally raised new funding with a $30 million cash injection led by both existing and new investors. 

True Fit was also named as the winner of the Best Retail Insights category in the 2022 Vendor In Partnership Awards, which recognised the power of its Fashion Genome, which helps brands and retailers personalise the buying experience online.
