Tommy Hilfiger is expanding yet again its product offering. The brand is launching a new ready-to-wear line called Tommy Girl which is dedicated to young girls from the ages of 12 to 18. Licenced to RVC Enterprises LLC, the collection will go through an initial test in the American market, where it will be available for sale from July onwards at 150 of Macy’s department stores

Its other kidswear line, Tommy Hilfiger Kids, is aimed at children up to the age of 16, but this time the brand wished to make a collection that is only for girls and that also has covers a wider age spectrum that is closer to the adult range. Tommy Girls will offer a full wardrobe in the famous Tommy Hilfiger preppy style, featuring oxford cloth shirts, polos, peacoats and denim jeans. Those will be sold at prices more affordable to teenagers, ranging from around 20 to 90 euros.

Although the collection is completely new, its name already rings a bell. Tommy Girl is in fact the same name of one of the first fragrances launched by Tommy Hilfiger, and its popularity in the 90s has allowed the brand develop a ready-to-wear line under the same name.
