The German retailer grew by 2.2% on a like-for-like basis in the first half-year. The Hamburg-based lifestyle clothing company also saw a positive increase in sales of 1.9% during the second quarter.

The Hamburg-based company can be pleased with its results

Umbrella brand Tom Taylor was able to improve its like-for-like sales during the second quarter with an increase of 14% from its first quarter (-3.9%). Contributing to the rise was a particularly strong momentum for the brand during June. The first six months of the year, however, were 0.8% below the figure of its previous year.

Umbrella brand Bonita also grew in the second quarter with a like-for-like sales increase of 2.3%. After the negative values the brand had over the same period last year, this means a positive increase in sales for the first half of 2015. On a comparative basis, sales of Bonita rose by 4.5%.

The verticalization and implementation process of a new organizational structure will be accelerated in order to increase the productivity per area, said the CEO of the German label, Dieter Holzer.

The group achieved a total turnover of €932.1 million during 2014, with Bonita’s turnover reaching €324.9 million.

The company plans to release its full report of the first half-year on August 11.
