For spring 2018, French fashion label and retailer The Kooples has teamed up with US men’s lifestyle magazine Playboy, now a lucrative corporation capitalising on its reputation for glamour and erotica through a host of licence contracts in 180 countries. Together, The Kooples and Playboy have launched a mini-collection for men and women in mid-April.

The line consists of ten models, including loose t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies with straightforward sportswear cuts and distinctive visuals. The Kooples, founded in 2008, has lent its style to some of Playboy’s signature cover designs, from a lipstick-red mouth to women’s silhouettes and faces.

The mini-collection, with prices ranging from €89 to €178, is available at selected The Kooples stores and on the label’s e-shop. The Kooples was founded by the Elicha brothers and currently operates approximately 400 retail outlets (across stores and retail corners) in 36 countries.

Playboy recently featured in several collaborations, joining forces with Italian label Moschino for the brand's resort 2018 collection, as well as teaming up with Supreme, Burton and Joyrich last year.
