Sonia Rykiel creates U.S managing director post

Nathan Lévy has been named managing director Sonia Rykiel in the United States. His role will be to manage the company’s commercial activity in the region as well as to implement its strategy in what is previously unchartered territory for the brand. Lévy comes joins the label from a similar position at New York designer Erin Fetherston.

"The creation of a managing director role is an important step in the development and expansion of the brand in the North American market,” said the brand. Sonia Rykiel has recently come under ownership of Fung Brands and has subsequently seen the arrival of Eric Langon as chief executive office and Geraldo Da Conceicao as artistic director.
