Shiseido Group EMEA has recently put Guillaume Gellusseau in charge of its worldwide fragrance know-how.

Formerly responsible for marketing, communication and brand image at LVMH retail groups Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche and La Grande Épicerie de Paris, Guillaume Gellusseau is Shiseido's new World Vice-President of designer brands (Narciso Rodriguez, Issey Miyake, etc.), of Serge Lutens and of the Fragrance Excellence Centre, created by Shiseido in October 2016. Gellusseau is based in Paris and takes over from Nathalie Helloin Kamel, who left the group. He is also a member of the executive committee and reports to Louis Desazars, President and CEO of Shiseido Group EMEA.

Guillaume Gellusseau started his career at Parfums Christian Dior and also worked at L’Oréal and Baccarat. He is tasked with developing Shiseido's fragrance portfolio and boosting the potential of the group's brands, "with the objective of making Shiseido a key player in the fragrance industry worldwide," stated the group in a press release.

A year ago, Shiseido made its plans about the perfume market very clear: it intends to reach a 9% share of the world fragrance market within five years, growing from the 6% it currently holds.
