Sarah Jessica Parker brings premiere SJP flagship to New York City

Sarah Jessica Parker's shoe brand, SJP Collection, is opening its first ever flagship store in New York City this April. 

Located in Midtown Manhattan at 31 W. 54th Street, the debut flagship joins the label's pre-existing New York boutique location in Manhattan's Seaport district. Appropriately, the new flagship space formerly served as a boutique for Manolo Blahnik, the shoe label famously cherished by "Sex and the City" character Carrie Bradshaw, who was played by Parker. 

According to industry reports, the 1,350-square foot store will feature an outdoor garden and will offer SJP footwear as well as a full range of accessories, including sunglasses, fragrances, candles, books and beach towels. In addition, the flagship will be located alongside the brand's corporate offices and its future showroom.

The brand, which just entered into its sixth year of business, announced the store opening via Instagram. 

"At last, we are pleased to announce the opening of our first flagship store in New York City this April," the brand said. "Starting this spring, you can find us in the heart of Midtown Manhattan at 31 W 54th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. A new home that is sentimental for so many reasons. This shop is a dream come true for #SJPCollection and we can’t wait to welcome our returning customers, open our doors to new ones and create a space where all are welcome." 

In addition to the flagship and Seaport stores, Parker's eponymous footwear label currently operates a pop-up on 52nd Street, as well as locations inside the Bellagio Las Vegas, MGM National Harbor, West Edmonton Mall, The Dubai Mall, The Galleria, Abu Dhabi and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi.
