Premium fashion brand Reiss has linked up with American premium denim label Paige with a selection of the latter’s women’s and men’s jeans “curated by Reiss” now available on the UK retailer's webstore.

It’s an interesting move for Reiss that’s best known for selling its own label. But with retail giant Next having recently taken a sizeable stake in the firm, it won’t be short of advice on how to successfully incorporate third-party brands into its offer.

Reiss said its “commitment to its customer is about designing modern clothes and curating wardrobes for different moments”, and the inclusion of the LA-based jeans brand is part of that process.

The Paige line-up includes 16 selected women’s styles from flares to skinnies, straight-legs and shorts with a focus on both “season favourites and timeless staples”.

For men, there are 12 styles with a focus on slim and skinny fits, “which best use Paige’s unique” stretch fabrics.

Reiss creative director James Spreckley said that “California has an intrinsic sense of cool, which Paige embodies, offering jeans that deliver body contouring, comfort, and shape retention – the epitome of premium denim”.

And the jeans label’s co-founder and creative director Paige Adams-Geller said the link-up with Reiss “feels like a natural fit”.
