Stevenson’s primary objectives in his new role are to lead the company’s global initiatives in product development, sourcing and Enterprise Resource Planning for all markets.

This promotion is the culmination of Stevenson's in-house journey in which he was successively Quiksilver’s National Sales Manager in Australia between 1992 and 1999, in charge of Marketing and Sales in Australia from 1999 to 2002, and Quiksilver South Pacific President and Managing Director for Quiksilver Australasia between 2002 and 2007. International brand manager since 2007, he became president of Quiksilver Americas in January 2009.

Rob Colby, previously Quiksilver Americas Chief Operating Officer, succeeds Stevenson as Americas region president. Colby served as Quiksilver Americas Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. These promotions , according to Quiksilver, come after the near tripling of profits in the Americas for the group over the past two years.
