Fashion trade show Project announced on Thursday its global event schedule to take place next year across three locations -- New York, Las Vegas and Tokyo.

Project New York

Kicking off the year, Projet New York will take place January 24-25, 2023 at event space Iron23, in the Flatiron district, highlighting men’s and gender-fluid apparel, footwear, and accessories brands. The two-day event will host key retailers, thought leaders, and influential voices in the Big Apple, and will host live events featuring a mix of music, education and artistic experiences.

The following month, Project Las Vegas will take place at the Las Vega Convention Center with two bi-annual events: the first from February 13-15, and once again in August. The Las Vegas editions will host a comprehensive offering of men’s, women’s, and gender fluid brands, and will highlight new and emerging brands, as well as national and international names in specialty categories including denim, contemporary collections, streetwear, loungewear, activewear, shoes, and accessories.

Both North American editions of Project will incorporate Informa Markets Fashion for Change (IMFC) initiative, which supports minority-owned, women-owned, and LGBTQIA+-owned fashion brands across men's and women's apparel, accessories, and footwear, according to organizer, Informa Markets Fashion.

Internationally, Project Tokyo will return March 15-16, at the Tokyo International Forum as well in fall 2023. The Japan-based event will feature an international collection of men’s and women’s contemporary apparel, accessories, and footwear, from contemporary to designer labels, in addition to major department stores and online e-commerce platforms, as well as specialty stores from across Japan and overseas, according to a press release.

“Our global Project platform will continue to support the ongoing needs of the fashion industry with specific events throughout 2023 that are designed to service specialized communities and align with critical buying cycles,” said Kelly Helfman, president of Informa Markets Fashion, the organizers behind Project, as well as Magic, Coterie, and Sourcing at Magic.

The 2023 Project edition announcement come on the back of a success Project pop-up initiative in New York over the summer. Taking place at Iron 23, the retail space included eight-to-ten hand-selected brands with exclusive drops for the pop-up, curated by industry veteran Maurizio Donadi.
