Following the success of the first edition of Milano Unica Prima, a show dedicated to pre collections of men’s and women’s high-end textiles last year, the second edition begins on July 6, 2016 at Fiera Milano city.

Milano Unica Prima will showcase the world’s best fabrics and accessories manufacturers, two months ahead of the traditional schedule of selection of textiles and accessories by buyers.

According to the organiser, the show is a one of a kind initiative and the first to offer a chance to establish a bridge between the upstream and downstream of the fashion supply chain.

The trade show takes place in a period in which collections are still in progress and customisations can be developed from supplier-customer interactions.

The number of exhibitors has more than doubled to 133 this year from 66 last year, with exhibitors coming from Japan, France, Portugal, UK and Slovenia, including Italy.

“It is gratifying to see how much attention companies pay to the new proposals in terms of trade show innovation and provision of business opportunities,” said the president of Milano Unica, Ercole Botto Poala.

“I would like to thank all the Italian and foreign exhibitors for having given impetus to an event that is growing in importance in a market that is steadily and rapidly evolving,” he added.
