This new position was created to accelerate the label's expansion on the American continent. Philipp Plein stated that the executive will also be joining the fashion label's board of directors.

"I'm very happy at having Graziano de Boni as a board member. He will help our team deliver fast growth in America, putting his huge experience in luxury goods and fashion at the disposal of our worldwide strategy," stated Philipp Plein in the press release.

Graziano de Boni was in charge of Giorgio Armani's North American operations for four years, until November 2014. He formerly worked for Reed Krakoff, Prada USA and Valentino.
