Nike launches Studio Wrap shoes

Following the increased popularity of yoga, Pilates and barre workouts, Nike has launched a shoe specially designed for studio-based activities. The Studio Wrap is the mid-way between barefoot and dance shoes and is marketed at those looking for an alternative to going barefoot or wearing socks. The ‘5-in-1’ shoe fits to the contours of the foot whilst providing grip and avoiding the ever-unflattering prospect of going bare foot.

This particular Nike product had no less than 30 prototypes before it was put into production and is one step further for Nike in the studio sportswear market. The shoe will be available from Spring 2013 and will retail at 110 U.S. dollars.
