New format for Maison & Objet trade show in Paris

‘Bye Bye Routine, Hello Surprise’ is the theme for the next edition of the Maison & Objet show, scheduled on September 7 to 11 at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre in the French capital.

As FashionNetwork.com reported last January, the September 2018 edition of the event dedicated to design, interior decoration and the art of living features an entirely new format, now concentrating on its core areas: home decoration and design objects.

The next edition of the Maison & Objet trade show will start on September 7 in Paris - DR


The show’s home decoration section will split in four thematic areas, including one for fine craftsmanship and artisan products, and the design objects section will feature seven areas such as Fashion Accessories, showcasing leather accessories, scarf and costume jewellery brands like M.Moustache, Entre 2 Rétros and Atelier Paulin.

Beauty products will be hosted in the Home Fragrances area, with exhibitors specialised in scented candles, perfumes and cosmetics, like Lothantique, Bastide and Estéban.

Altogether, 3,000 exhibitors, 600 of them new entries, will take part in the next edition of the Maison & Objet show, which attracted 89,495 visitors last January.
