The edit celebrates the timeless design, craftsmanship and style of Italy with a line-up of brands that includes Altea, Etro, Fornasetti, Lorenzi Milano and Missoni.

Selected for displaying a unique point of view, craftsmanship sensibility or manufacturing technique, other designers within the Italian Masters are Aspesi, Caruso, De Petrillo, E.Marinella, Fabbrica Pelletterie Milano, Francesco Maglia, Incotex, L.G.R, Lardini, Massimo Alba, MP Massimo Piombo, Officine Creative, Pineider, Rubinacci, Seed to Skin, Valextra and Valstar.

The selection introduces new brands to Mr Porter — Villa's Milan-based men’s accessories and Varese-based family-owned Missoni Home, as well as Abruzzo-based brand Giuliva Heritage.

“Italian Masters encompasses an extensive offering of both well-known and speciality Italian brands, all of which have a unique point of view and a distinct craftsmanship sensibility that enhances the overall collection,” said Sam Kershaw, buying director at Mr Porter.

He added: “We aimed to seek-out and nurture exclusive product stories with each of these outstanding brands, and especially wanted to shine a light on the smaller artisanal partners who are so important to sustaining specific skills and one-of-a-kind manufacturing techniques.”

A global digital campaign will celebrate the launch of the Italian Masters from late September, along with dedicated editorial and social content across Mr Porter’s content platforms.
