MF Brands entrusts its environmental and social responsibility to Carole de Montgolfier

A new change of universe for Carole de Montgolfier. After Carrefour, and then the FashionCube group, the French executive joins MF Brands, owner of the Swiss family Maus, and its portfolio of premium fashion brands.

Carole de Montgolfier - MF Brands

The executive has spent most of her career with the Carrefour group where, after holding various financial positions, became in 2011 responsible for projects related to the group's social and environmental responsibility. In 2019, she joined FashionCube and its ecosystem of fashion brands including Jules, Bizzbee, Pimkie, Orsay, Gain de Malice and Rouge Gorge. Her mission was to define the strategy and roadmap on topics related to social responsibility, and then to ensure that it is aligned with laws and draft laws in the field of CSR.

The director will now build a CSR strategy for more premium brands, as the MF Brands group includes labels such as Lacoste, The Kooples, Gant, Aigle but also the technical brand Technifibre. A group that should pass the two billion turnover mark in 2022, according to the statements of its CEO Thierry Guibert last spring, and aims at 4 billion euros of sales in 2026.

"We are delighted to welcome de Montgolfier to the Group. With her dual expertise in finance and CSR, we will be able to rely on her rigor and skills to deploy our societal and environmental strategy. Her arrival testifies to our requirements in terms of commitments as well as to the pioneering role that MF Brands pursues within its industry, in order to make it more and more responsible and to favour a desirable future."

The new executive's mission is to coordinate the efforts of the MF Brands group on CSR issues and she will report to Alexandre Nodale, the group's deputy CEO.
