Lululemon promotes Burgoyne to lead retail operations in Americas

Lululemon announced on Monday the promotion of Celeste Burgoyne to executive vice-president of retail, Americas, effective immediately.

Burgoyne, who has been with Lululemon since 2006 and was most recently senior VP of retail in North America, will be responsible for leading the wider Americas retail organisation the region.  

The yoga-inspired athletic apparel company said Burgoyne has a deep understanding of the brand’s operations across the geography.

“The Americas is our largest operation and remains a critical part of our future. I know Celeste’s leadership will ensure a laser focus on expanding our footprint, exploring new formats and creating new and engaging ways to connect with our guests,” said company CEO Laurent Potdevin.

Burgoyne has been responsible for overseeing the company’s Canadian and US retail divisions snd previously spent 10 years at Abercrombie & Fitch, where she held a variety of roles including senior director of stores.

Burgoyne will continue to report to Potdevin.
