Louis Vuitton is looking to attract candidates. The flagship house of the LVMH luxury group has thoroughly redesigned its jobs.louisvuitton.com recruitment site, in terms of image, storytelling, content and accessibility. Its aim? To make itself as attractive as possible in order to attract the best talent with a view to creating 9,000 positions worldwide by 2025. Proof that even the largest houses in the sector must arm themselves facing the current recruitment issues. The Colbert Committee, which brings together the major players in the luxury industry, is also highlighting the professions in the sector with its Les De[ux]mains du Luxe operation.

Out of nearly 6,000 job offers published in 2021, the brand claims it has received around 600,000 applications. From 28,000 employees at the end of 2020, it will increase to a total workforce of 33,000 by the end of the year. But to support its growth, in full recovery after the pandemic, and while it is increasingly diversifying into other lifestyle sectors, Louis Vuitton is taking it a step further with these 9,000 recruitments planned in three years in the more than 60 countries where it is present.

The new website will provide a better understanding of the countless jobs that bring the brand to life, and its destinations around the world. "Louis Vuitton offers a multitude of exciting opportunities and challenges to candidates from around the world. We have designed a site that reflects our collective spirit and the richness of our businesses to attract talent that is in tune with our culture. We want to offer them a unique experience as soon as they apply," said human resources director Olivier Sastre in a statement.

The site is now available in five languages and can be accessed from a smartphone. A new image, expanded content, fluidity of navigation ... Everything has been done to appeal to candidates, who from the home page can directly access the job offers available by profession and by geographical location, "to make the search and application experience more intuitive". Each job offer page is accompanied by a description of the position and information about the company. Candidates also have the option of being alerted as soon as a job opening matching their selection criteria becomes available.

"The content of the site has been chosen with an aspirational objective in mind, in order to provide candidates with information about the history and values of the company, as a cultural fit with future talent is a guaranteed successful collaboration at Louis Vuitton," the company said.
