"Sooo excited to be opening up our first Japan store next month," the label's founder Ryan O’Connor wrote in an Instagram post showing the new storefront, the windows of which display the message "coming soon." "Thank you all for supporting RipNDip over the years and making this possible. I really do it all for u."

The label, perhaps most famous for its middle-finger-flipping cat cartoon character Lord Nermal, has a high-energy, colorful and cartoonish aesthetic set to make it a great fit for the Japanese neighborhood and its famously irreverent fashion scene.

While the label has yet to announce what products will be available in the new store, RipNDip is known for its range of slippers, sweatpants, zip-up sweaters, button-up shirts, jackets, hoodies and fleeces in a range of eye-popping patterns and colors.

This isn't RipNDip's first time bringing its brand into contact with the East Asian country – in March of 2018, the label partnered with Tenga, a leading Japanese sex toy manufacturer, for a cheeky collaboration featuring an image of the label's signature cat.

The label's first permanent flagship is located in Los Angeles at 441 North Fairfax Avenue, established in August of 2018 after serving as a RipNDip pop-up shop.
