This fall, Le Bon Marché will be heading to New York, and more specifically to Brooklyn. From August 29 to October 17, the Paris department store will hold a new major exhibition that will permeate its various floors, its window displays as well as appearing in the stalls of La Grande Epicerie de Paris. The title: Brooklyn Left Bank.

Le Bon Marché intends for the event to embody the New York neighborhood’s abundant creative energy, its craftsmanship and its sense of belonging. With this in mind, a selection of local brands including women’s, men’s and children’s ready-to-wear, accessories, beauty and interior design will be presented exclusively for seven weeks.

One will be able to find pieces by Ulla Johnson, or even brands such as Harvey Faircloth, Jacques Eliott, Brooklyn Industries, Brooklyn Animals, Brooklyn Tailors, Knickerbocker Tracy Tanner... There will also be a very logo-based theme, with many products easily identifiable with Brooklyn.

As for the ambience, the exhibition-sale, which will be held throughout the store’s different floors and universes, will welcome a few special guests, such as a tattoo artist and the vintage tableware store Fishs Eddy. There will also be dog accessories on display for pampered Brooklyn pets.
