Kookaï: first collab with Sibling

Published
Jun 13, 2014

Kookaï is taking a new direction for fall/winter 2014-15. In the midst of reshaping its product range, in particular aiming to return to its roots in knitwear, the brand is also getting involved in “collabs”. The very first, which should be released in stores in November, logically involves the British knitwear specialists at Sibling.

A sketch of a Sibling silhouette for Kookaï.

The creative trio, which shows in London, has come out with a dozen or so knitwear pieces. Checks, stripes, various fabrics and knits all on the program, as is a reinterpretation of the knitwear dress dear to the French brand, all in blues and flashy pinks tempered by black.

Items from the collaborations will go on sale in early November in select Kookaï stores open in 35 major cities across France. Prices will be slightly higher than the rest of the Vivarte-owned brand’s range, given the use of such materials as angora wool, ending up between 75 and 150 euros for a maximum long dress.

After Sibling gets the ball rolling, Kookaï will continue to enlist new collaborators for subsequent seasons.
