Jil Sander releases a nature-inspired summer capsule collection

Jil Sander is unveiling a capsule collection of ready-to-wear and accessories inspired by the spirit of summer and the rhythms of nature, two themes that are expressed in the cuts, volumes, materials and palette.

Jil Sander's new capsule collection is like a breath of light, delicate, fresh summer air, helping us reconnect with nature thanks to natural, flowing materials, oversized volumes, and pure colors. Lucie and Luke Meier, the brand's artistic directors, designed the collection by thinking back to their own memories of summer, and are offering women who want to enjoy a serene summer in pure comfort.

The "Jil Sander+ Summer Project," the collection also brings function to the fore with a selection of elegantly practical pieces, such as nylon canvas and parachute silk overalls with large pockets.

The range also includes soft cotton shirts and long dresses, an XXL shirtdress, and an organic cotton poplin caftan. On the accessories end Jil Sander is offering unisex leather sandals, sombrero bags, flat, oversized natural canvas totes, and hats that shield the head and neck from the sun. A jacquard beach towel with a "Jil Sander+" logo completes the capsule.
