Italian menswear brand Isaia is launching in the UK with a store at 45 Conduit Street, just off the key shopping hub of Regent Street. This first opening for the brand in Britain follows earlier debuts in key European, Asian and US cities.

The company said that the store “will bring a taste of Napoli to London, [in] keeping with the brand’s promise to amplify the heritage and culture of Napoli to the rest of the world.”

The luxury menswear brand was founded in the 1920s and is still family-run with the third generation of the Isaia family, Gianluca, its current CEO.

The brand is currently available in the US, Canada, Europe, China, Russia and Japan.

Gianluca Isaia said of the new store: “I visited London for the first time in 1976, when I was 13 years old and have loved it ever since. The history, sophistication, and of course, the love of tailoring, makes it the perfect place for Isaia to have a home.`’

Designed by Ferrari Architetti and decorated with art and artefacts sourced by interior designer Alberta Saladino, the store’s design and architecture follows a similar pattern to its other global locations, with the red lacquered piano that’s a feature of all its stores also included. It covers 450 sq m of space.

The product offer includes its full range with sportswear, tailoring, and accessories. There’s also a Made to Measure room and its Vesuvio VIP room.

Conduit Street is becoming an increasingly important hub for luxury labels with boutiques for Berluti, Vivienne Westwood and Giuseppe Zanotti close to the new Isaia store. There are also major names such as DSquared and MCM nearby while just a stone’s throw away on Regent Street are other luxury names such as Coach, Michael Kors, Tory Burch and Longchamp.
