Corrado Masini, a manager experienced in the apparel and luxury sector, formerly with Armani, Diesel, Pinko and Citizens of Humanity, has been appointed Global Brand Director and CCO at Italian upmarket casual wear label Harmont & Blaine.

"Masini's arrival will further strengthen our company structure by completing its top management team, with the objective of pursuing significant growth results in the next few years, especially on international markets," said Harmont & Blaine's CEO Paolo Montefusco.

At Pitti Uomo 91, the Italian upmarket casual wear label revealed to FashionNetwork.com that its final revenue forecast for 2016 is €80 million, equivalent to a 7-8% growth over the 2015 result of €76 million. As for international expansion, Harmont & Blaine has set its sights on China, where it plans to open about 27 stores in the next five years, ten of which by end 2018, together with its partner IGM.

The label is currently operating over 100 mono-brand stores and shop-in-shops worldwide, and since 2014 the Clessidra investment fund has become one of its shareholders.
