The Iconic, the Australian e-retailer owned by Luxembourg-based Global Fashion Group (GFG), has launched a new feature that will allow customers to shop consciously using five different sustainability categories.

The e-commerce feature, dubbed "Considered," uses five sustainability categories to allow customers to filter and find sustainable products, with categories including animal-friendly, community engagement, eco-production, fair production and sustainable materials.

According to GFG, products that fall under the Considered edit include items made using at least one material or process that is better for humans, animals or the environment than conventional alternatives, or is from a brand that is making contributions to the community. Under its initial launch, Considered by The Iconic offers over 6,400 products tagged as sustainable, including menswear, womenswear, kidswear, sport, footwear and accessories, across over 300 brands.

Featured brands include KITX, Outland Denim, Maggie Marilyn and Patagonia, among others.

“Considered is a testament to GFG’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility," said Patrick Schmidt, co-CEO of GFG. "As a global company with 11.4 million active customers and over 10,000 fashion & lifestyle brand partners, we understand the responsibility we have to both our customers and our planet."

In the future, GBG plans to expand The Iconic's Considered edit to include over 10,000 products, with new products added daily.
