FashionNetwork.com announces four key appointments

​FashionNetwork.com announces four appointments to its senior editorial and technological teams, in a strategic move to reinforce its position as the world’s only 24-hour fashion news services operating in 10 languages.

Godfrey Deeny, Global Editor-in-Chief
FashionNetwork.com has promoted Godfrey Deeny to be its Global Editor-in-Chief from his current position as International Editor-in-Chief. Deeny will be responsible for the worldwide coverage and management of all FashionNetwork.com’s bureaus, editors and reporters, including France. He will report to CEO and founder Jean-Philippe Boudy.

Deeny joined FashionNetwork.com in March, continuing a career that included positions as Milan Editor of the Dow Jones; Paris Bureau Chief of Women’s Wear Daily and W magazine; Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Hommes and Fashion Editor-at-Large of Le Figaro.

Olivier Guyot, Editor-in-Chief France
FashionNetwork.com has also appointed Olivier Guyot as its new Editor-in-Chief of FashionNetwork.com France. Guyot is a highly experienced editor who first joined the company in 2010 as a journalist. Prior to that, he was an economic journalist, and branch manager of monthly title Le Journal des Entreprises for the daily Est de la France. Guyot is a specialist in denim, streetwear and active sports fashion. He has a degree in journalism from the ISCPA in Lyon.
 
Anaïs Lerévérend, Deputy Editor-in-Chief France
Anaïs Lerérévend has been named Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the FashionNetwork.com’s French news service. Lerérévend joined the company in 2011, under its previous name FashionMag.com. Prior to that she spent two years at the Journal du Textile after completing a degree in journalism from the Ecole Journalisme Tours. Anaïs is a highly knowledgeable fashion editor who has overseen FashionNetwork.com’s womenswear, lingerie and swimsuit section for the past 18 months.

Jean-Philippe Chaput, Chief Technology Officer
Finally, FashionNetwork.com has appointed Jean-Philippe Chaput to be its new Chief Technology Officer. Chaput joins the company from Qapa, a leading French recruitment site, where he was instrumental in growing the audience ten-fold to 30 million page views per month. He also developed Qapa Interim, a path breaking site for temporary jobs in France.

“I am very pleased by these appointments. They are an important step in ensuring FashionNetwork.com remains the key reference of fashion professionals worldwide. With the arrival of Jean-Philippe Chaput, we have put in place a new IT team which is already working actively on numerous new projects,” said CEO Jean-Philippe Boudy.
