Esprit is opening a new store at Hilversum’s Hilvertshof shopping mall on 30 September. It is the first Esprit store opening in the Netherlands since 2014. In the last few years the brand closed branches in Almere, Arnhem, Groningen and Nijmegen.

The 340 m2 store will focus on Esprit’s new concept, which entail discreet design elements for a light and open space. Lines on offer will be Esprit Casual, Esprit Collection and EDC, available for women.

In 2013 the brand announced its transformation: reorganizing its collections, management and the operational business itself. Esprit focused its strategy on targeting a younger generation, resulting in social media campaigns and a collaboration with NYC-based brand Opening Ceremony

The brand is available in 40 countries worldwide, via 761 directly-managed retail stores and by way of 6,332 wholesale outlets.

On Wednesday 20 September 2017 Esprit announced a rise in full-year net profit to 7.2 million euros from 2.2 million euros a year earlier.
