Elle and Version Femina sign model wellbeing charter with LVMH, Kering

After Kering and LVMH, it's now Elle and Version Femina who are promoting the wellbeing of models, signing an accord created by the two French fashion powerhouses in September 2017.

The text, which bans the use of models under the age of 16 years old and models who measure less than a size 34, seeks to guarantee respectful working condition for these (often very young) fashion industry professionals.

For Erin Doherty, editor of Elle: "It is advantageous that the profession awakes at last. We will transform the system if we work collectively."

An opinion shared by America's Condé Nast, who unveiled Thursday its code of conduct, applying to all those who work on magazine shoots for the group.
