Cult beauty brand E.l.f. Cosmetics is channeling tropical vibes for its next influencer co-created collection.

The vegan cosmetics label is heading to Nassau this week for the fourth edition of its annual Beautyscape event, which brings 25 beauty influencers together for mentorship and support. The influencers will work in teams, alongside e.l.f. mentors, to create tropical-inspired makeup collections, with each member of the winning team given a $10,000 cash prize and the opportunity to collaborate with e.l.f. on a beauty series set for release in summer 2020.

On-hand experts at this year's Beautyscape include TV personality and performer Frankie Grande, celebrity makeup artist Nam Vo and the celebrity hairstylist and haircare entrepreneur Jen Atkin.

"Beautyscape's mission is to give back to beauty's rising super stars, who personify the e.l.f. values of inclusivity, accessibility and authenticity," said Kory Marchisotto, e.l.f.'s Chief Marketing Officer. "Grassroots digital engagement has long been at the core of the e.l.f. brand, and Beautyscape allows us to take engagement even deeper by strengthening relationships and teaching lasting lessons about beauty and business."

While in Nassau, the Beautyscape finalists will also work together to build hygiene kits that feature functional e.l.f. products to be distributed to people in the Bahamas who have been displaced by Hurricane Dorian, which struck in September. E.l.f. will be donating to UNICEF USA for Bahamas, and has also partnered with Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board (NPIPB) to help bring awareness to the island.

Last year's Beautyscape event, which took place in New Orleans, gave rise to the brand's 'Modern Metals' collection, which launched in September 2018.
