Dr Martens and No Signal collaborate on radio series

Footwear brand Dr Martens and radio broadcaster No Signal are collaborating to air a series pairing six of the UK’s “most exciting grassroots artists” on the domestic music scene. It will feature the artists talking with each other about their music, collaboration, and creative process.

The pair have joined forces “to do what they do best, scouting and championing the best of emerging talent”, by creating a radio takeover across No Signal’s Wavelengths show’s hosted by No Signal's Scully this autumn.

Over the coming month, he'll be joined by artists Arytn, George Riley, BXKS, Scuti, Benga and Len for a series of mini weekly shows “that celebrate and excite, with the aim to create a space for growth and to celebrate the future leaders of the music scene”.

It kicks off on Tuesday (8 November) with Scully joined by Len & Scuti. There's also a campaign film linking the series by creative director and singer/songwriter Kelvin Jones and stills by Chad McLean.

Of course, the Dr Martens side of the collab centres on the brand’s latest arrivals from the DM’s Utility Wear collection, from a contemporary classic of the Combs Tech boot to the new season silhouette, the Boury boot.

“The energy between Dr Martens and No Signal is being able to stand out, stand forward, and say – this is who I am. This is what I do. And this is how I’m gonna do it,” said Scully.
