American fashion brand Dockers, owned by the Levi Strauss & Co. group, is increasing its commitment to the Spanish market, a key element of its European strategy, with a new opening in Madrid. The brand will open a store at the end of February located at number 11 of the popular shopping street Calle Fuencarral.

The store consists of a surface area of 230 square meters spread over two floors, where Dockers will display its new commercial concept, with an interior design focused on soft tones and inspired by the California aesthetic and lifestyle. The lease transaction has been brokered by the consulting agency Aretail, part of the Afinance group.

This will mark Dockers' second shop opening in Madrid in just three months. Last December it opened a store in the Salamanca district. With this opening, the brand kicked off its plan to establish itself in Europe, with the Spanish capital as a strategic location. It also relocated its store to Bilbao in the summer of 2021.

Dockers not only operates in Spain through its network of mono-brand stores, but it also retails in El Corte Inglés. On the online channel, it markets its products both through its own e-commerce platform and in multi-brand retailers such as Zalando.

Born in San Francisco in 1986, the brand owes its popularity to men's chino pants which became its flagship product, although it now also has a womenswear line. The label owned by Levi Strauss & Co. is present in more than 60 countries
