Delta Galil is on a roll. Fresh from announcing a major underwear licence deal with Adidas earlier this week, the Israel-based manufacturer will now create, produce and market new women’s lingerie and swimwear collections for upscale Austrian intimates firm Wolford.

Launching worldwide for SS22, the new collections combine “effortless luxury with a contemporary style”, we’re told.

It will be available through Wolford boutiques, premium department stores, including Neiman Marcus, Harvey Nichols, KaDeWe, Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof, Galeries Lafayette and La Rinascente, plus selected multibrand and speciality stores. It will also be available via major luxury online retail platforms Mytheresa, MatchesFashion, Net-A-Porter and Farfetch. In Russia, the collections will be distributed by Jamilco.

The collection, which features “refined shapes and colours along with a variety of lace patterns” also includes an athleisure range, as well as cotton and seamless intimate apparel.

The swimwear collection comprises one and two-piece suits as well as cover-ups “made with luxury fabrics, sophisticated details and saturated colours”.

Retail prices for the two collections will range from €40 to €225 in Europe and $55 to $320 in the US.

Silvia Azzali, CCO of Wolford, said: “Lingerie and swimwear have always been an important product category within our collections and part of our DNA. Thanks to this new collaboration with Delta Galil, we will be able to exploit the opportunities of growth offered by the market, making swimwear and lingerie a key pillar of our product differentiation”.
