As the luxury brand looks to appeal to its more nomadic customers, Chanel has created a new take on how to apply and package perfume. The brand chose its youthful and feminine perfume line Chance for the endeavour. First launched in 2002, Chance will be available in 2020 as a retractable crayon which can be applied directly to the skin.

The perfume crayon comes in four versions comprising “Chance”, “Chance eau fraîche”, “Chance eau tendre”, and “Chance eau vive”. Designed to slip into a handbag, the crayon has a simple, modern, and bright design.

The line is available from early January, 2020 and the four crayons will be sold together as a set for €75 ($83.51).

Chanel will also launch its fragrance Chance as a hair oil (€55 for 35 ml), a more classic offering in the world of perfume.
