After ending its womenswear collection Cerruti is focusing entirely on menswear and on increasing its prestige. The label, which belongs to Trinity (Li&Fung), has just appointed Also Maria Camillo as Creative Director.

He will take over in June and his first collection will be autumn-winter 2013/2014, following on from Zoran Bosana who has left to “pursue personal projects”. Cerruti, led by Catherine Vautrin since last October, is counting on its new creative director “to bring to life Cerruti’s new menswear style”. Aldo Maria Camillo has been Head of Menswear at Valentino since 2009. He was previously Senior Designer in the “formal and tailored” department at Ermenegildo Zegna.

Trinity, the Chinese menswear retail specialist, has just added a fifth brand to its stable – the British Gieves & Hawkes. Global company Li&Fung already has Cerruti and Kent & Curwen, as well as the licences for D’Urban and Intermezzo in China.
