Mohr is a trade show veteran who brings decades of experience to Capsule. As director, she will oversee sales for the Capsule women’s shows that are held eight times annually in New York City, Las Vegas, Paris and Los Angeles.

Joanne Mohr heads to Capsule from ENK where she served as Executive Vice President of Women’s and Children’s Events since 2012. Elyse Kroll recruited her to ENK in 1997 to expand the company’s portfolio and oversee sales, merchandising, registration and operations for Coterie, Circuit, Intermezzo, Children’s Club, Sole Commerce and Blue.

In addition, Mohr began her career at Online International and worked as Group Show Director for Accessories The Show when it was known as Fashion Accessories Expo.

“Capsule is dedicated to delivering an unmatched offering of emerging and established brands and market trends to the world’s best retailers,” says Capsule co-founder Deirdre Maloney. “Now is the perfect time to bring on someone with Joanne’s experience, expertise and foresight in an effort to grow, excel and service our clients at the highest level. We’re so excited to have her onboard.”

Capsule launched its first women’s show in 2011, which quickly grew into one of the premier women’s fashion trade shows in the US. The Reed Exhibitions-owned event merged with Axis in April 2016 and held the first Axis at Capsule activation at the first Capsule women’s show in Los Angeles in October.
