Camille Charrière has forged closer ties with Mango. The London-based French influencer is also known for being a TV presenter, podcast host and even an it-girl, regularly spotted sitting in the front row of major fashion shows. She now adds brand ambassador to her list of career titles as she designs her own collection for the Spanish brand. Recently, Mango has been looking to increase its brand awareness abroad through collaborations with renowned artists and celebrities such as Chufy, André Saraiva, Leandra Medine and Pernille Teisbaek.

Camille Charrière's collection for Mango will be available this upcoming fall - Mango

After having collaborated with Mango on numerous occasions, the influencer will now present a limited edition capsule collection inspired by her personality and her "own style", usually characterized by rather casual garments such as oversized jeans and pants, crop tops, miniskirts or sultry evening dresses. As of today, more than 1.3 million followers keep up with her daily fashion posts on Instagram

The fall collection will be available starting from November and will consist of a total of 40 pieces, including Charrière's wardrobe staples in satin fabrics, lace and sequins. The collection will also include coats and accessories designed to create "party looks for both day and night."

Mango has its sights set on the French market

The Barcelona-based brand’s commitment to global expansion and increasing the appeal of its garments is further underscored by its latest collaboration with the Parisian-born influencer, who was one of the hand-picked guests that attended the recent opening of Mango’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York.

Mango plans to go up to 300 stores by 2025 in France, one of the brand’s main markets. By the end of fiscal year 2021, the retail chain already operated 223 points-of-sale in the country, of which 111 were company-owned stores and 112 franchises. More than 15% of them were located in the Paris region.

The company employs 1,600 people in France and is planning to open 20 new stores in 2022, notably in the city centers of Reims, Colmar and Orange and in the Les Atlantes shopping mall in Tours. In addition, the brand will invest 3.5 million euros into renovating its Parisian locations at 54 Rue Haussmann, Rue de Rivoli, and at the Saint-Lazare train station.

Mango closed the last fiscal year with a presence in 110 countries and a turnover of 2.2 billion euros. Over the next few years, 100 million euros will be allocated to its development in the United States.
