Brama Group, the specialist high-end fashion distributor based in Italy's Modena, has announced the appointment of Sirius Lanuti as its new managing director. Lanuti will implement the strategy defined by owner duo Renzo and Paolo Braglia.

A graduate in administrative affairs, Lanuti started his career at the expert accounting firm, Deloitte. He entered the world of fashion in 2009, aged 29, in becoming the administrative director at Twinset. From there, he moved on to Atos Lombardini, before being appointed finance director at Maliparmi. At Brama Group, he will be responsible for the managerial organisation and will report to the owners.

"We are very pleased to welcome Sirius into our team and we are convinced that his experience and expertise will be essential added values," said Renzo Braglia, Brama Group's CEO.

"Over the course of the previous years, our group has witnessed exponential growth and Sirius's role is key now to consolidate these advancements."

In 2017, the group recorded revenues of approximately 50 million euros. Brama has its headquarters in Modena and operates eight showrooms across Milan, Paris, London, Copenhagen, Anvers, Madrid, Dusseldorf and Munich.

The group also operates its own brands: Fine Edge, a high-end wool-based line designed in California, and Frida Muse, a leather and suede pants brand.

The group, in addition, distributes brands such as J Brand, Equipment, Current/Elliott, Norma Kamali, Opening Ceremony, Mother, Frame, and Local Authority, within the EMEA region, and this year took on brands Jean Atelier and The Script as part of its distribution folio.
