Berg Outdoor expands into the Netherlands

The Portuguese outdoor and sportswear multinational continues its international expansion with its arrival in the Netherlands. Berg Outdoor is already available through Dutch wholesalers and will go on sale in store at the beginning of 2018. 

Berg Outdoor explained that "the expansion into the Netherlands is another step in the brand's growth strategy and a result of the recognition of its offering". The multinational also specified that the expansion was "part of a partnership with Foras Sport, a specialized retailer in the outdoor market". Berg Outdoor's offering in the Netherlands consists of 350 pieces, including clothing, footwear and equipment for a range of outdoor activities, such as trail running. 

Berg Outdoor currently exports its products to over 15 countries. According to the brand's press release, it is aiming to "develop its presence in markets where it already operates, such as Portugal, Spain, Germany and Italy", but is also "involved in expanding its footprint by reaching out to new markets."
